Dannii Minogue: Project D is forever
Dannii Minogue says her Project D dresses are “classic” so they’ll never go out of fashion.
The Australian star launched her own fashion label alongside friend and business partner Tabitha Somerset Webb last year. The glamorous pieces are easy to wear and fashion forward, and have been praised by industry experts.
Dannii, who is renowned for her elegant style, says she designed her gowns with longevity in mind.
“I hope I’ll always have Project D dresses from every collection hanging in my wardrobe. That’s the way we design them, so even when you put them in the back of your closet for a while, and you forget about them, or you loan them to your friend and get them back, you can enjoy them again,” she revealed to mydaily.co.uk . “They’re just classic shapes, not trendy stuff that’s going to go out of fashion.”
Dannii has revealed her favourite dresses from the line. The 39-year-old beauty, who wears her dresses for a variety of showbiz events, says she prefers the ultra feminine designs.
“I guess the Roulette from the first range I wear a lot because it’s got a big skirt and it’s very feminine. My cousin borrowed it the other day for a party, she looked amazing in it,” she gushed. “The Casino I loved, with its sequins. I wore that when I was pregnant, I’ll never forget that dress. And there are a lot of great new ones from the new collection coming out.

Cee Lo Green is to judge BGT rival, The Voice, when it airs on BBC1 in the UK.
The Forget You star currently sits on the panel of the US version of the singing competition – which sees hopefuls perform for the judges without them seeing their face – alongside Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.
He has admitted he is currently looking to rearrange his schedule to allow him to be a part of the British show.
He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “I have been offered the coaching gig. I plan to take it.
“We just have to work out a schedule that is not completely overbearing.”
Cee Lo’s admission comes shortly after it was announced that all four judges would return for a second season of the US version of the programme, following the success of the first series.
NBC executive Paul Telegdy said: “Our fantastic coaches were integral to the tremendous success of The Voice this year and we are thrilled that they are all returning. We look forward to building season two and making The Voice an even greater experience for fans.”
The Voice, which has also seen former X-Factor stars Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue linked with judging roles, is due to begin later this year.
