A judge ordered the actress Estella Warren, for four months in a residential treatment center after it has entered a plea of no contest in a case of drunk driving on Friday.
Los Angeles, the city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said of Warren was also sentenced to five years' informal probation.
The "Planet of the Apes" actress was facing four misdemeanor charges after his arrest earlier this year for crashing into three parked cars and fighting with police.
The 32-year-old was previously convicted of drunk driving in 2007.
Mateljan said Warren a hearing will be held on October7 to determine whether Warren has to pay any restitution.
She played alongside Mark Wahlberg in Tim Burton's 2001 version of "Planet of the Apes" and also worked as a model.
